I've been working regularly as a sculptor since 1993, and have worked in one medium or another on a regular basis for all my life, in watercolor painting, photography, furniture making, pottery, silver casting, clay sculpture, assemblage, etc.

In December 2007, I switched gears, from working exclusively in clay sculpture, to interactive kinetic assemblage and to more abstract assemblage work.

I was born in Sacramento, California, in 1950, and while I have spent years in Alaska, Washington, and Germany, home has been Grass Valley, California, since 1989.
